Dr. Scott grew up in Belvidere, IL. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana prior to attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While attending Palmer Dr. Scott had the opportunity to participate in a number of organizations as well as attend many seminars to expand his chiropractic knowledge. One of his most fond memories was when he had the opportunity to participate in a clinic abroad program to Fiji. There, he and about 30 other students and Drs. were able to bring chiropractic care to those who were not so fortunate. Dr. Scott graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February of 2006.

Vander Weit Chiropractic opened in January of 2007 and has been extremely dedicated in serving the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Community ever since. Dr. Scott knows the importance of a strong community, and has made it a point to get involved. Hosting events such as Kids Day America, speaking to various groups about injury prevention in the workplace, as well as being a dedicated board member of the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce.

In his free time Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with his highs school sweetheart Brooke who is a teacher at Crystal Lake Centeral High School, and his new daughter Paige who was born on September 7, 2009.
